The Welsh Assembly Government may decide to allocate additional INSET days, schools will be informed of these at the appropriate time.

The School day is organised as follows;

Nursery

• Doors open - 8:50am
• School starts-9:00am
• Lunch break -11:45am to 1.00pm
• End of day - 3:25pm
• Part time/pre-nursery finish between 11:50am - 12pm

Reception and Year 1

• Doors open - 8:50am
• School starts-9:00am
• Lunch break -11:45am to 1.00pm
• End of day - 3.25pm Reception   3:30pm  Year 1

Year 2

• Doors open - 8:50am
• School starts-9:00am
• Lunch break -12pm to 1:15pm
• End of day - 3:30pm

Year 3 to Year 6

• Doors open - 8:50am
• School starts-9:00am
• Lunch break - 12:15pm to 1:15pm
• End of day - 3:30pm

School term times 2023/2024

Mon 4 Sept 2023 and *Monday 22 July 2024 will be designated INSET days for all LEA Maintained Schools. The remaining three INSET days to be taken will be at the discretion of each individual school following appropriate consultation with staff. *It is intended that this INSET Day will either be taken on Mon 22 July 2024 or at an alternative time for example in the form of twilight sessions.

All schools will be closed on Monday 6 May 2024 for the May Day Bank Holiday.
